Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and HuntingLeaseUSA, LLC (“HuntingLeaseUSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of https://huntingleaseusa.com and our related services, including browsing listings, membership, and booking hunting leases (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, becoming a member, or booking a lease, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Services, book a lease, or purchase a membership. You are responsible for holding any hunting license, permit, or tag required by the state and locality where you hunt, and for complying with all applicable laws.

3. Membership and billing

Browsing public listings is free. Unlocking members-only details — exact location and parcel maps, access instructions, landowner coordination, and the ability to book — requires an active membership priced at $10 per month or $100 per year.

• Auto-renewal. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) using your payment method on file, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Cancellation. You may cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your membership remains active through the end of the period you have already paid for.
• No partial refunds. Except where required by law, membership fees are non-refundable for periods already elapsed. Price changes will be communicated in advance and apply to your next renewal.

4. Lease bookings

Each listing is an annual lease of private land to a single hunting party for the season. When you book, you agree to the price shown and any property-specific rules disclosed in the listing or by the landowner.

• We collect payment. HuntingLeaseUSA collects the lease payment through Stripe and remits the landowner’s share to them. Your booking is confirmed once payment clears and any required background check has passed.
• Single-party, seasonal. A booked property is taken off the market and reserved for you for the applicable season. Because that removes it from every other hunter, lease payments are generally non-refundable once the booking is confirmed and location access is unlocked.
• Access details. Exact location, parcel boundaries, and access instructions are provided only after a booking is confirmed and must be kept confidential and used only by your authorized party.
• Issues. If a property materially differs from its listing, contact us promptly and we will work with you and the landowner toward a fair resolution.

5. Background checks

As a condition of booking, you consent to a background check performed by our vendor, Checkr, and you authorize us to receive the result. We may decline or cancel a booking, or suspend an account, based on screening results, safety concerns, or applicable law. Screening is subject to Checkr’s terms and, where applicable, the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

6. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false information or misrepresent your identity or eligibility.
• Share, resell, sublease, or grant access to a booked property to anyone outside your authorized party without the landowner’s consent.
• Publish, scrape, or redistribute gated location data or other members-only information.
• Hunt outside posted boundaries or seasons, damage property, or violate any game law, safety rule, or landowner instruction.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

7. Landowner relationships

HuntingLeaseUSA is a marketplace that lists properties, screens hunters, collects payment, and helps coordinate bookings. We are not the owner of the land, a party to your on-the-ground use of it, or a real-estate broker or insurer. The lease and access are between you and the landowner, subject to these Terms and any property-specific rules. Landowners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and their legal right to lease the property.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant any particular hunting experience, game population, harvest, or property condition.

Hunting is inherently risky. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your safety and that of your party, for safe firearm and equipment handling, and for following all federal, state, and local game laws, seasons, bag limits, and licensing requirements. Always hunt responsibly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuntingLeaseUSA and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or relating to the Services or your use of any leased property. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to HuntingLeaseUSA in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HuntingLeaseUSA and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your use of any leased property, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including a landowner.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which HuntingLeaseUSA, LLCis organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
